There is no waste since you brew only what you need and the coffee is never stale or burned because there is no warmer to overcook it.

Cleanup is minimal with an on demand coffee maker which is why they are so popular in any shared use environment – there is no coffee to scoop, measure or spill and no filters to fool with plus there is no carafe so no one gets stuck cleaning up or wondering if they forgot to unplug the machine. The battle over regular versus decaffeinated is over because each person can brew precisely what they’d like to drink without impacting anyone else. .
